Why Choose Our Practice?

We are the first practice in western Maryland to offer Optos Ultrawide field fluorescein angiography and fundus autofluorescence.  This technology makes the doctors at CVRC the only retinal specialists in the western Maryland region to be able to assess peripheral retinal blood vessel health angiographically in common conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular blockage which allows for earlier detection and treatment.  The panretinal fundus autofluorescence helps assess and track for progression of macular degeneration, retinal dystrophy, and toxicity from drugs such as Plaquenil.
